KIS and KIS Plus FAQ's for Current Users

KIS PLUS FAQ'S

How do I Use the KIS PLUS Programme and Hand Held?

1. Enter Data into the handheld unit
2. Regularly, Select File/Save
3. When you have completed all of your machines, select File/Exit
4. Select YES to save the changes
5. Turn off the handheld and place in the cradle, Microsoft Active Sync will start, wait for it to synchronise and close Active Sync
6. Select the KIS PLUS logo from your desktop
7. Press the transfer information button. If you are doing a weekly or monthly, please select the correct week for download
8. This will open KIS (in Excel), select File/Save
9. If you have a jackpot system that requires hard turnover to be entered press the Print Turnover button
10. Close KIS PLUS
11. Reconcile your gaming in KIS as normal

Where are my KIS PLUS backup's stored?
In the C:\Programme Files\KIS 3\Site Name folder

My Hand Held isn't synchronising what do I do?

1. Take your hand held out of the cradle and turn it on
2. Restart your main computer
3. On the back of your hand held unit there is a reset button, press this button and allow to reset
4. Turn off the hand held and place in the cradle. Active Sync will open
5. Proceed as with How do I use the Hand Held and KIS Plus instructions
